The Hopewell Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization brings families, teachers and staff together to support our students. We fund enrichment programs, celebrate our teachers, and build a welcoming school community through events and volunteering.
Every HES family is part of the PTO. Here is what that support adds up to for our students, teachers and families.
Bringing learning beyond the classroom with assemblies, visiting performers, authors and other school-day enrichment.
Helping teachers and classrooms with supplies, resources and year-round appreciation, including Staff Appreciation and Teacher Appreciation Week.
Helping fund experiences students remember, from field trips and busing to special programs like the Kidpreneur Event and fifth-grade celebrations.
Creating the events and traditions that bring HES families together, like the Back to School Bash, K/1 Monster Mash, Valentine's Day Dance and Spring Fling.
Family support: gifts to the Annual Appeal and our other fundraisers.
Employer matching: many employers match eligible family donations, adding support at no extra cost.
Volunteers: parents giving their time to run programs and events.
PTO leadership: board members and committee chairs who coordinate the work.
Every family helps in its own way.
Executive Board: meet the volunteers who lead the PTO.
Committees: the events and programs parents run, and the roles that need a chair.
