Every HES family is already part of the PTO, and it’s free. Getting involved is the fun part: give an hour, a weekend, or a season, whatever fits your life.
15 minutes, from home: donate snacks or supplies, help with online sign-ups, or share the Frog Flash with a friend.
1–2 hours: work one shift at the Back to School Bash, Book Fair, pie pickup, Monster Mash, dances, Spring Fling and more.
A few hours a month: be a Room Parent, or help plan an assembly or staff appreciation.
A season: chair or co-chair a committee. We’ll pair you with an experienced parent and hand you last year’s playbook.
Tap the committees you’d like below. It takes about a minute.
Yes. Many jobs happen on evenings or weekends, or from home: online sign-ups, supply drives, sharing posts, planning calls. Pick "Volunteer" and tell us your schedule when we follow up.
That's the best reason to jump in. Volunteering is how most HES parents meet each other. New chairs are paired with an experienced parent, and our New Families page covers the basics.
Volunteers in the building during the school day follow HES and district visitor and volunteer procedures, and always sign in at the main office. Your chair will tell you exactly what's needed for your role.
Of course. PTO meetings are monthly, in person or on Zoom at zoom.hopewellpto.org. Dates are on the Events & Calendar page.
Absolutely. Anyone who cares about HES kids is welcome.
