Double your gift at no cost to you

Many employers match their employees' donations to schools and nonprofits, often dollar for dollar and sometimes 2 or 3 times over. Some also donate when you volunteer. It takes about five minutes and can double the impact of your Annual Appeal gift or event donation.

Step 1: Check whether your employer matches

• Search your company's HR or benefits site for "matching gifts" or "giving."

• Common giving platforms include Benevity, YourCause, CyberGrants, Bright Funds and Millie.

• Not sure? Ask your HR team, or email our Treasurer and we'll help you find out.

Step 2: Make your gift to the HES PTO

Give through our Annual Appeal or any campaign on our Fundraisers page. Zeffy emails you a tax receipt right away. Keep it, since most programs ask for it.

Step 3: Submit your match request

1. Log in to your company's giving portal.

2. Search for Hopewell Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization or our EIN, 45-0480036.

3. If we don't appear, choose "add an organization" and enter the details below.

4. Attach your Zeffy receipt and submit. Watch your company's deadline, which is often the end of the year or January 31 of the following year.

Step 4: Let us know

Email [email protected] to say you've requested a match, so we can track it and make sure it's processed.

What happens next?

Your company may email our Treasurer to confirm your gift. Once it's confirmed, they send the matching funds straight to the PTO. Thank you for doubling your support for HES students!
